| During the slipform construction of the silo, the operation platform’s design of the traditional rigid sliding mode device is usually according to the upper structure’s construction load, which render the operation platform overweight and bring too much inconvenience for the slipform construction of the silo. Therefore, how to design a sliding mode operation platform so that the weight of the operation platform can be reduced and can also have the characters of the rigid platform used as the template support of the upper structure’s construction become one of the researching aspects on sliding mode device.According to the slipform construction of the silo, this paper raises a new design concept for sliding mode device design. The new sliding mode design is divided in two phases. In the first phase, mechanics analysis is applied, which accords to the rising phase’s load and does not consider the upper cone shell construction’s load. In addition, the cross section is selected appropriately. In the second phase, when the mode’s sliding is over, the lasso connection reinforcement is added at the corresponding position of the ring beam below every radiation beam and cone shell. Then, mechanics analysis is applied again in accordance with the conical shell construction’s load and the new sliding mode device can satisfy the force requires. The finite element analysis software SAP2000is used to do the structure’s design and static analysis, and a comparison is applied between the new design of the sliding mode device and the traditional rigid one about technology and economy. The results show that the structure satisfys the design requirements. The number of support bar is reduced, the speed of the sliding mode is accelerated, the construction period is shortened and the cost of the construction is reduced. In addition, the operating platform not only overcomes the overweight drawback of traditional rigid sliding mode platform formwork but also inherits some advantages of the traditional rigid sliding mode’s construction. For example, the operating platform’s working face is large when construction and it can do the support platform during the construction of the conical shell, which provide a reference for the future silo’s construction. |
