The Research And Exploitation Of CAN-Bus Control System Of Dump Truck Lifting Mechanism

Dump trucks,with its high mobility and automatic unloading etc, greatly shorten working hours andsave a lot of labor force. dump trucks can be seen everywhere in the construction site,factories, mines etc. Dump truck lifting mechanism is one of the most important part ofthe dump truck. The performance and value of the dump truck depend on the liftingmechanism’s working performance and security directly. The paper will researches andexploits a kind of control system of dump truck lifting mechanism based on CAN-Busto improve the working performance and automation degree, to reduce the complexityof the operation of lifting mechanism, to strengthen the dump truck safety protection,and to reduce the number of accidents.At First, the writer analyses the current situation of the development of the dumpand the development trend at home and abroad; And then compares several presentpopular field buses, CAN-bus can meet the requirements of the control system ofcommunication; Then, detailly introduces the CAN-bus principle such as CAN buscommunication agreement standard, message transmission and frame structure.In the paper hardware and software of dump truck lifting mechanism controlsystem based on CAN-bus are researched and developed. The writer researches thewhole control system framework, and carries the detailed modular design through,including CAN communication module, sensor module, ADS module, liquid crystaldisplay module and power supply module. Anti-disturbance measures of the controlsystem are put forward.At last, the writer experiments on the control system of lifting mechanism ofCAN-bus, the experimental results show that the control system in this paper isfeasible; CAN-bus reduces the wire harness of control system, improves the reliabilityand expansibility of system.
