With the development of highway construction, freeway also develops rapidly. But because China has a large mountainous area, we need to build more and more tunnels in freeway construction inevitably.Tunnel construction quality directly determines the road traffic capacity and also the tunnel pavement quality directly effects traffic ride quality. Therefore, this paper combines Guangxi transportation science and technology project Research of the environmental paving technology of tunnel asphalt pavement freeway, to do a research of warm mix asphalt and tunnel ventilation organization and design in the process of construction. On one hand, by using the mixing temperature of warm mix asphalt, we decrease the temperature of the mixture, paving and grind of asphalt, in order to decrease the let out of harmful gas, such as nitric oxide, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, sulfur dioxide, dust, etc. Meanwhile, not to decrease the pavement performances of warm mix asphalt, like high and low temperature and to solve environment problems. On the other hand, construction organization management, like ventilation design in the process of inside tunnel pavement construction, can solve the environment problems.The research made experiments to produce warm mix asphalt and mixture and did related researches about its physical and mechanical properties. Meanwhile, it did some calculations about gas concentration standard about tunnel ventilation design and the wind amount to reach the environmental sanitation. Main achievements are:The performances are similar between F-2modified warm mix asphalt and mixture and Sasobit warm mix agent. The mixing and grinding temperature of warm mix asphalt mixture is30centigrade lower than normal warm mix asphalt mixture, and does not decrease performance, which has widely social and economic benefits. By calculating the wind amount which reaches the environmental sanitation in the process of asphalt pavement construction, we got the standards for choosing fan types. We can get desired effects and good conditions by studying the construction technologies of warm mix asphalt mixture and decreasing the construction directions to guide the tunnel pavement construction, applying F-2and Sasobit mixtures to pave test road, testing the theoretical research accomplishments by real engineering.
