Now due to the damage caused by the pollution flashover accident on the powergrid has seriously affected the safe and reliable operation of the power grid equipment,the economic losses and social affects it produces is immeasurable. This paper analyzesthe occurring mechanism of pollution flashover, and analyzes the cause that triggers thepower happening serious pollution flashover accident from air pollution, weathercondition, outer insulation configuration level and inferior insulator.This article through system researches the development process and mechanism ofinsulator filthy flash collaterals discharge, and makes full use of the evaluationtechnology and methods that the experts has summed up, describes the specialrelationship between each input characteristic quantities. Finally constructs the insulatorfault diagnosis modle used on the power network to prevent pollution flashover whichcan accurately and efficiently and system diagnosis the insulator fault,the modleintegrates fuzzy reasoning, Petri network and artificial neural network technology andso on. Through the further research this article validates that this design has efficientdiagnosis and the ability to learn by itself, finally compiled a set of simulation programfor the proposed theory which based on the object-oriented technology of VC++6.0,and the results show that the design of fault diagnosis system in this paper is veryapplicable and practical.
