Power system reactive power optimization is an important issue facing the power system operation. Reactive power optimization of the basic content is to meet a variety of constraints, the use of reactive power control means, such as the control of reactive power output of generator reactive power compensation device, the regulating transformer tap stalls, to improve voltage pass rate, reduce network losses, improve power supply efficiency, improve power system security and stability at the same time.This paper describes the Reactive power optimization of the basic theory and the means of achieving the oilfield power grid operating characteristics and the demand for reactive power compensation, pointed Reactive Power Optimization should take the combination of centralized control and decentralized control. Nine-Area focused on the analysis of the control principle, and pointed out that the specific problems and improved methods. Take load segments theoretical, combined with the actual operating conditions and historical load data, load forecasting, calculated on the the substation next day load parameters using the interior point method to determine the equipment operation action timetable.Second, the regulation principle and control strategy of substation reactive power optimization, analysis of how the transformer turns ratio change and shunt capacitor switching the qualified node voltage and reactive power balance constraints, improve system voltage and run quality.Again, combined with the actual operating conditions and historical load data, take the load segment theory, the the substation load curve simplify regular curve, to divide fixed running intervals on a regular load curve treated; further according to the actual situation load curve smoothing determine Sectionalysed. On this basis, the use of the nine districts diagram method is optimized for to segment each interval respectively, and use the time control method to determine the transformer into operation, to achieve the purpose of dynamic reactive power optimization.Finally, this paper proposed substation reactive power optimization control strategy, Shengli Oilfield western grid instance analysis, and simulation of a35kV substation of the grid reactive power and voltage regulation strategy. The research shows that:the program can effectively improve the the substation voltage pass rate and the power factor of the high-pressure side of the transformer, reduce the the transformer tap stalls action times, reducing network losses, and has good economic.
