According to the planning of the WPG new factory, rational planning of plant layout, assembly line, testing, spraying line, detailed analysis of the loading process, and the development of the information collection system were built. After the use of the new plant, we have found that the production efficiency is greatly improved, the quality of products are effectively enhanced and the delivery time is shortened, also it reduces the in-process inventory, speeds up the pace of market reaction and enhances the market competitiveness of enterprises.Specific works were commenced from the following details:1) Factory layout planning, in order to reduce the unnecessary waste of turnover arrange the whole process from the raw materials warehouse to the assembly line, spray packaging to finished products by IE theory reasonably.2) To adapt to the diversified, low-volume and flexible-line production of generator sets, plan the assembly line type reasonably.3) To meet the technical requirements of the multi-specification test requirements of domestic and foreign products, plan and design the power distribution and commissioning workshop test pattern reasonably,4) To meet the different requirements of the batch and single-piece production, plan and design the spray lines reasonably,5) In order to facilitate the implementation of ERP and other information technology projects, set up the information collection system in the factory line.
