In the product design process, digitalization and intelligentization have becomenecessary goals. From the CE theory, intelligent design technology, PDM technologyvirtual design and virtual manufacturing technology of last century to agilemanufacturing, global manufacturing model and net-work manufacturing at present, allis the manufacturing process for innovative product development, especially forcomplex product design process which was a great innovation. The collaborativeproduct design process for complex modeling is studied, including the followingspecific aspects:First, in order to realize intelligentization and infomationization of processmanagement, a management approach that workflow technology is applied to designprocess management is proposed through design process analyzation of the basicmanagement content and development trends. The process management system isplanning for five-level structure. In the process control layer, workflow technology isinterfaced with design process management system. A variety of activities andbehaviors of design process are integrated in a unified management platform. In thisway, process management is computerized.Then for collaborative design task planning of complex product, the missionplanning algorithm based on DSM is proposed. The specific algorithm step is given.The task set is gotten with coupling matrix calculating. The appropriate couplingdecoupling or restructuring is carried on with the use of split algorithm. In the resolutionof the conflict in design process, nature description is proposed that is described bymathematical model for a better solution to find the optimization program.Then in order to reduce configuration task coupling degree of the complex product,reduce design iterations and optimalize design process, hierarchical DSM modelingmethod is proposed. The hierarchical DSM algorithm in modeling process is described.In the simulation model aspect, the progressive process model method is proposed. Based on the simulation model stages, dynamic feedback of simulation process,simulation results are reasonably and effectively analyzed so as to realize the simulationto guide the design practice.Finally aimed at collaborative design process characteristics and actual demand ofthe complex product, the process management software system design andprogramming are realized. From the practice perspective, this method is proved to bereasonable and effective.
