Ceramisite-reinforced aerated concrete block is a new self-thermal insulation wall material.The block’s cutting is an extremely important step in the block processing steps. Block production equipment is currently being explored, the production efficiency is low,which can not meet the needs of the construction market. Therefore, developing and researching the special cutting machine of ceramsite-reinforced aerated concrete block is of great significance to the promotion and application of energy-efficient new building wall materials.Based on the analysis of the manufacture process of ceramsite concrete block, the special cutting machine is designed for the block cutting process.The cutting machine and its components are designed, and the modeling and virtual fabrication of the cutting machine have been completed. Finite element analysis based on the machine and the main components has been completed. Finally, structure optimization on the spindle of the cutting machine has been conducted. The contents of this paper are as follows:1. Study on the manufacture process of ceramsite concrete block used in the company, new manufacture process has been designed. Studying on the functional requirements of the cutting machine mechanical system, the cutting machine and its components are designed, and the modeling and virtual fabrication of the cutting machine have been completed.2. Based on the analysis of cutting force in the cutting process, static analysis of the finite element model of the cutting machine and its important components, obtained the maximum stress, the deformation and the distribution of them,which verified that the properties of the cutting machine meets the strength and stiffness requirements.3. On the basis of the static analysis, through the modal analysis of the cutting machine and its important compontents, obtained the low order inherent vibration frequencies and modes, which provided reliable reference for the dynamic design of the cutting machine.4. Structural optimization of cutting machine spindle have been completed based on the strength and stiffness requirements, which used the mass, maximum stress and stain as the objective function, obtainded the structural of the spindle with much lighter weightness, reduced processing costs, and provided a theoretical basis of the structural optimization design of the spindle.
