Study On The Design Of Urban Passenger Transport Hub Complex Based On Rail Transit

With the economic growth and the escalating urbanization of China, urban passenger transportation has become the most important factor related to city construction. Many are trying to improve the transportation models and means to solve the traffic pressure problem, but most of them lack the focus on the construction of the transportation station complex. Now that the city and its traffic structure has been renewed, we must realize that the interchange transportation centre is at the core position of the urban traffic issue. While the transportation system based on the city railway transport is taking shape, the design of transportation centre has much to do with the infrastructure of the city. Thus the design and construction of the transportation station complex becomes an efficient way to relieve the traffic pressure and make the passenger transportation environment better.Basing on the urban rail transport, this article studies the type, function, interchange, multiple character feature of transportation complex to afford theoretical guidance. The article also studies the site selection, function organization, space design of transportation complex to make technical reference. Finally the analysis of some typical transport complex project abroad and within provides revelation and exampling.
