In recent years, with the vigorous development of China’s rapid social economy and the flourish real estate, the height of the building be continuously exceeded, architectural modelling is increasingly complicated. These different models super high buildings constructional engineering are beyond the current related standards and regulations of constructional engineering in China, therefore it is necessary to research in-depth on the seismic response analysis and structural analysis of High-rise. In the design of a super high building structure, the dynamic characteristics of the structure response as well as the effect of wind and seismic is an important basis of the design, finite element program to analyze their characteristics is an important method to know about the structure of wind resistance and seismic performance.The research analysed on a five-star hotel in Olympic Park, Huainan City by reviewing the development of super high building, at the conclusion of super high building on the basis of the calculation method,summarizes and verifies the design essentials of super high buildings through the analysis of specific projects:1. Conceptual design first before design super high building, with the uniformity principle and symmetry principle, arrange vertical components reasonable, control the internal force and displacement efficiently, so that building can be economical and fit the standards and requirements.2. The calculation of super high should adopts two different structural analysis softwares of mechanical model, take the dynamic response of structural accurately through compare the two analysis results.3. The calculation of super high building can be divided into two phases, elasticity phase and elastoplasticity phase. The calculation of elasticity phase can adopts the horizontal torsion coupling mode-superposition response spectrum method, and add the analysis of dynamic integration method, inspect the indicators of structure under multiple seismic cycle such as, modes of vibration and displacement; calculation of elastic-plastic phase static elastic-plastic push-over analysis method can be used to study the weak layer structure under strong earthquake locations and distribution of plastic hinge.4. Design of seismic performance should analysis the particularities of the structural programme, select appropriate design target of structure seismic performance, Inspect seismic capacity in seismic, fortification intensity of earthquake and strong earthquake of structure, and to take measures to meet the expected seismic performance objectives. The key point of seismic performance design is focused on in-depth analysis and judgment to identify weak parts of the structure, take economic appropriate with targetedThe main contribution of this paper is verified the basic principles of complex structural design of super high buildings through specific projects.
