Assessment of power quality, power parameter detection is extremely importantbasis for the entire power system is cost-effective, safe and stable operation of thepremise and fundamental. The traditional electric parameter detection system mainlybased on hardware systems larger, more single function, higher cost debugging verycomplex, familiar use a longer time. Traditional electric parameter detection systemchanges, upgrades involve system architecture and hardware changes to the circuit, andnot be able to match the upgrade, these do not coincide with the direction ofdevelopment of the modern instrument technology. The constant development of the thepower parameter detection technology and software technology, requires us to develop adetection system upgrade to match with the power system transformation.In this paper, based on the reference the power parameter detection technologydevelopment, many problems exist for conventional electricity parametric test systems,has developed a way to accurately measure the power, power factor, frequency, phase,voltage, current, voltage deviation, frequency deviation electrical parameters of newpower parameter test system. The system has the power quality timely analysis of therecords to calculate the results show the function of the power parameter, the systemfunctions can be defined by the user, with a very real sense. Because the systemprogram using LabVIEW software development platform, especially importanthardware using National Instruments data acquisition card, the system is capable of veryaccurate and convenient online quick quick test of the power parameters, while remotemonitoring, so the software is instrument use in personal and business use are veryconvenient and efficient.This paper describes the works and constitute the basis of the power parameter testsystem, the functionality of the system and the main technical indicators was introducedone by one to determine the overall design of the program, introduced the systemdevelopment platform LabVIEW software on the system theoretical analysis, feasibilityanalysis, program design and display of test results were discussed and completed, focuses on virtual instrument software design methods. The future instrument systemdevelopment direction is achieved through software and optimized hardware features,so this study another focus. The system described, complete design and implementationof the entire system, and tested, and is now running well. Finally, some of the problemsand deficiencies exist in the actual operation of the system are summarized proposedsystem recommendations for improvement, while noting that the next step in researchideas and Prospects.
