With the rapid development of automotive electronics, vehicle electrical and electronicsystem is gradually applied to the car. Use of vehicle electrical and electronic system, on the onehand makes the car more comfortable, safe, energy-saving, on the other hand makes vehicleelectrical and electronic systems more complex. In the development process the vehicle electricaland electronic systems test becomes crucial important and needs longer development cycles, thehigher cost.In this paper the design of vehicle electrical and electronic system test platform was studieddeeply. The vehicle electrical and electronic systems were analysed, starting from the electroniccontrol unit and the CAN network, thier basic structure and principles were introduced. The fiveelectronic control unit (EPS, ABS, IC,ECM,BCM) constitute the CAN network. The set ofelectrical and electronic systems was studied. And testing requirements of the electronic controlunits and vehicle were analysied, including CAN network testing, functional testing andelectrical performance testing. Based on the analysis, the hardware and software of the platformwere estsblished. The each node CAN network simulation was estsblished by CANoe. Thedevelopment platform of test procedures is Labview, the input signal and the output signal ofeach of the electronic control unit were simulated.From the results of the test: the powerful vehicle electrical and electronic system testplatform not only shorten the development cycle but also reduce the cost of equipment andrelated maintenance costs.
