Electric power industry is an essentially basic industry and public utility closely relatedthe national economy and people’s daily lives, it poses an irreplaceable importance oneconomic development, social stability and security. During the period from2011to2015,China’s electric power industry will change to be clean, low carbon, market directed and thedemand for electricity will continue to grow rapidly, the development mode will thereforfurther change. The stability of the electric power directly related to the users of electricityand quality of life, the electric power enterprise has the responsibility and obligation to ensurethe power supply reliability maintaining in a high level. As a kind of efficient managementsuitable for electric power enterprises, the power supply reliability management has drawnincreasing attention from the country and its power grid companies.This project clarifies the target and content of the power bureau’s power supply reliabilitymanagement through analyzing regulatory requirements and related regulation of powersupply reliability. It has found universality and uniqueness problems of Foshan power supplybureau by deeply analyzing the specific index in2011.1. Reliability management index has a lot to improve, reliability management has littlepromotion for production management.2. Reliability management is in lack of systematic thinking, the dispersion has notformed a joint effort.3. Statistics of many systems’ distribution network has been maintained repeatedly, noreal integrated reliability management platform is formed.4. The level of integrated informationization should be further enhanced. the statisticalsummary function did not realize the network planning, construction, maintenance, operationliterally.Aiming at the above mentioned problems, on the basis of the current situation of FoshanBureau, this project uses system analysis method to put forward specific measures ofenhancing basic management, speeding up power grid construction, enhancing gridmanagement, strengthening operation management, promoting charged operation and facilityonline monitoring. Foshan Bureau used these comprehensive measures in the operationsystem and has achieved positive effects, the objective displays: personnel has become moregoal-oriented, active, index has become more scientific and effective.Foshan bureau has played a good example for other bureaus. Finally, the project putsforward a comprehensive information management platform based on the demands of informatization of reliability management. This system scheme will share information withother systems, thus making basic and advanced function in a whole body, the validity isconfirmed and has a great significance to improve the information automation level ofregional power supply bureau.
