The Research On The Improvement Of Infrastructure For Historical And Cultural Villages

As a very precious non-renewable resource, historical village which protection anddevelopment should be given sufficient attention has been an important aspect of historicaland cultural heritage protection in China. Over the last decade to take into account, theprotection of historical heritage around the world has developed from intangibale cultureheritage to material and non-material cultural heritage into account, from protection todevelopment and protection into account. The improvement of infrastructure, which plays themost direct role for the improvement of living standards of the villagers’ daily production, isan extremely important aspect in the issue of the protection and development of historicalvillage. Bacaese there are some prominent contradictions between traditional characteristicsof historical villages and the introduction of infrastructure, so we should coordinate therelationship between the introduction of infrastructure and the protection of traditionalcharacteristics, and the relationship between the improvement of villages’ living standards andthe continuation of intangible cultural heritage. According to the traditional characteristics ofhistorical village itself, the author hopes to target some important measures of infrastructureand establish an adaptive infrastructure improvement system to make up for the lack ofrelated research as the framework of improvement measures in the future.Taking the historical village in Meizhou as an example, the author has investigated thestatus of infrastructure deeply and summarized the existing problems and causes with the helpof existing theory and method. After that the author has proposed improvement measures ofthe infrastructure according to the different protection levels of historical villages. The thesisframework can be divided into four aspects as follow:(1) Research Background: Through the summary of the research of historical villagesprotaction and infrastructure improvement, this section analyzes the status and problemsof existing theory and practice, and refines the implications for this article.(2) The Status of Infrastructure: Taking the historical village in Meizhou as an example, thissection investigates the status of infrastructure deeply, summarizes the existing problemsand characteristics, and analyzes inhere reasons. (3) Improvement Measures: Combining with the existing problems, this section proposesimprovement measures according to the different protection levels and traditionalcharacteristics of historical villages. After that this section describes the features andadvantages of the proposed improvement measures thoroughly.(4) Application of the Improvement Measure: This section applies the proposed infrastructureimprovement measures into Qiaoxiang Village in Meizhou.
