Experiment Research On Engagement Of ATM Clutch

The transmission of automobile is an important part of the transmission system inautombiles. With the change of automotive design philosophy and in the more and moreinternational situation of fuel economy and emission requirements, as an transmissioncan automatically accomplish the process of auto start, gear select and shift, so the AMThas became the mainstream of national transmission development. The control of clutch,as the core of the AMT control, the significance of its characteristics research can beimagined.This paper combines with the specific project of enterprise, researches and analyseson the AMT of a miniature car. The focus of this paper mainly three aspects: first,complete the trial of AMT clutch engaging-characteristics; second, build acomprehensive performance test bed for AMT clutch; third, simulation analyse of theAMT clutch.First of all, analyse the national status of AMT research and the core issue of AMT,and propose the content and significance of this study.Secondly, this paper introduces the principle and system structure of AMT, gives thekinetics anslysis of AMT clutch engagement process,and further describes theperformance indexes of AMT clutch engagement.Then, according to the relevant standards, clear the test bed design ideas, and bulida comprehensive performance test bed for the AMT clutch.Finally, based on the test bed and determine the test method, do some experimentalresearch on clutch engagement characteristics, polynomial fit of a large number ofexperiment data, get clutch engaging separation displacement of effected by temperaturecorrection formula, and contrast the simulation model and test results.This paper, from the AMT clutch engaging performance index, in order to find therelationship of torque, temperature and bonding speed, provides the test conditions forthe mass production of AMT company and the first necessary material of clutch engagingcharacteristic test research. The characteristics of AMT clutch research provides animportant theoretical guidance and practical support, achieves the expected purpose, ithas an important research and engineering significance.
