This paper introduces the basic principle and the classification of the qualitativeanalysis method and quantitative analysis method, As a result of the qualitative analysismethod has some disadvantages, this paper doesn’t use qualitative analysis method to makeanalysis of slope stability, only using the quantitative analysis method。Using quantitativeanalysis method to analyze the slope failure mechanism and failure pattern, through thewidespread use of limit equilibrium method for slope stability analysis by software tosimulate slope profile, we can get the safety coefficient; And compared to FLAC3D slopestability analysis software for finite difference method the calculated results, to analyze thestability of the slope.Through the finite difference software FLAC3D on slope3D simulation, the level ofslope displacement, vertical displacement, stress, deformation vector images, safety factor ofshear strain nephogram, velocity vector and slope monitoring displacement of sampling planmade full analysis to the stability of slopes.
