Research On The Renovation Design Of Shizishan Park

City gardens are important parts of city’s ecology and scenery, and they play necessary part in garden greenbelt system. However, with the development of Chinese city construction as well as the advancement of economy, culture and arts, the external environment and people’ demanding of life have changed a lot. Therefore, some disadvantages of traditional city gardens have shown up:(1) the closed type of garden management are not convenient for residents around and make the garden isolated (2) the unbalance of development, the disorder of layout, staleness of basic construction contribute to the incomplete condition of garden functions.(3) monotonous of greenery allocation and weak design of sight. As a result, traditional city parks can no longer meet the developing needs of modern society and it becomes an inevitable trend to rebuild them.The essay bases on the current situation of Shizishan Park, including its position, natural resources, historical and literal connotation and tourists’reflections, then analyzes its outstanding conditions and existing problems. Further more, the reconstruction plan and feasible solutions have been raised to redesign Shizishan. Park, inspire its historical and literal connotation, consummate and improve the service function there. All these methods are implemented in order to optimize the garden’s design, to share the greenery space, to renew the basic facilities, to enrich the plants species, to elevate the cultural taste, and finally achieve comprehensive effects of Shizishan Park. The whole park has been divided into seven scenic regions and designed separately.(1)"lions’greeting of spring":plant various plants to change the plain sight, especially some spring flowers to form scenic spot in the season of spring. What is more, display some precious stones to create a strong art atmosphere.(2)"scenery with mountains and floating water":lay emphasis on develop the scenery of wet land, build more water-close space. Make full use of mountains and woods to broaden visual field, and preserve the surrounding forest land. Summer plants are welcomed to adopt to shape a picture of flowers in full bloom and fallen petals flying around like snow flakes.(3)"landscape with woods and springs":create the hilly land scenery of beautiful autumn with rows of trees. Construct multi-species plants community and equip with certain trees which have special color in autumn with the purpose of emphasizing the wild interest and drawing the beautiful skyline especially seasonal appearance of plants.
