Campus Landscape Research Under The Perspective Of Sustainable Development

With the deepening of Chinese economic growth mode transformation andconstitution reform of higher education, our colleges have also entered a new periodof development. Higher education began from “elite” to “popular”, colleges anduniversities have risen dramatically, a rapid increase in the number of students in theschool, and the scale of the universities have expanded rapidly. But colleges anduniversities in the rapid development process, there have been many unsatisfactoryproblems, particularly in landscape design and construction of the campusenvironment: such as the lack of campus culture，the neglect of the human spirit,regional consider lag, the beach of the natural environment conditions, plants withconfusion, the lack of materials and energy cycle technology, and other renewable.Facing the challenge of realistic problems, the author using the concept of“sustainable development” as a starting point, building on the university landscapedesign part analyzed and summarized according to the relevant theoretical knowledgeand practical case, from the humanistic dimension and Technical level research for themethods and strategies of the Chinese university landscape design, the collegebuilding for sustainable development under the guidance of many harmonization.This article is divided into a total of five chapters:Chapter I is the introduction section, including the background to the study oftopics, the purpose and significance of the study, the analysis of related concepts, themethods and frameworks of research;Chapter II describes the college landscape designstatus quo and problems,respectively, from a related course of development of the contemporary universitylandscape brief;Chapter III discusses two aspects of the sustainable university landscape designmethods, humanistic dimension including the modern heritage of the campus contextand the campus features the people of this expression, the technical level of siteoptimization, rainwater use, vegetation planting design, materials and energy use,waste disposal, ect;Chapter IV is the university landscape design cases of Del Istmo new campus,from the aspects of thepractice university sustainable landscape design method;Finally, the conclusion of Chapter V, a brief summary conclusion states the main conclusions of this paper, innovation and deficiencies.
