Research On The Preservation Of Miao Village Culture In Hunan Based On The Background Of The New Rural Construction

As the construction of new villages quickens, the " new " and " old " contradictions between new village construction and cultural heritage protection of traditional villages are emerging. On the one hand, the traditional settlement living space can not cater the modern villager’s life-style; on the other hand, the new village construction of demolition and reconstruction neglects the continuity of traditional village cultures; as a result, the villages lose the regional culture characteristics which are peculiar to Miao Minority.With Miao villages in Hunan as the studied objects, this paper attempts to systematically analyze the Miao village culture to find its inherent value, as well as find the problems and formulate protecting strategies for cultural heritage according to field investigation on villages in western Human and southwestern Hunan, in the hope of guiding settlement protection and new village construction in Hunan Miao regions through the case analysis on village culture protection.This paper comprises the following five chapters:The first chapter:as the introduction part, this chapter presents the research questions and analyzes the research significance in this paper in accordance with current research status, which combines the concept of village culture to make explanations and works out specific research methods and frameworks.The second chapter:this chapter probes into the village culture connotation of traditional Miao Minority from three perspectives of architecture, region and custom, which summarizes the value of traditional villages by combining the regional characteristics of Miao Minority.The third chapter:in combination with the overall condition of Miao villages in Hunan, this chapter classifies the current settlements of Miao Minority in Hunan by type, which determines the scope of field investigation based on the specifically environmental conditions in western Hunan and southwestern Hunan. And it finds the problems according to the field investigation on environmental and humanistic characteristics of different villages.The fourth chapter:this chapter firstly rethinks the progress of current village culture protection in Hunan, which formulates corresponding protecting strategies in combination with the times background that the settlements of Miao Minority are facing with; secondly, under the guidance of overall strategies, this chapter puts forward the proper protecting techniques and methods by respectively aiming at traditional cultural heritages and intangible heritages of Miao villages.The fifth chapter:this chapter carries out analytical research on the protection of Taolin Village in Chengbu Miao Autonomous County, which is considered as the actual case of Miao village culture protection in Hunan. Besides, this chapter analyzes the practice of village culture protection by dint of combining appropriate protecting techniques.The conclusion:The penman sums up the search results systematically aiming at the analysis data of Miao village culture protection in Hunan.I propose the innovation of this study,it’s the protection strategy of Miao village culture which is "Mainly protection,Taking into account the development".
