With the development of society and technology, the social demand forelectricity grow day by day, how to improve the safty,chear,efficient powersupply has become the main problems of modern power, So wind powergeneration has become the most poteivtial power supply mode.Due to the largewind power generator,the generator fault is diffcult to be ground comprehensivefound, increasing the cost of wind power. So the problem of fault detection forpower generation can not be delayed.This paper studies the use of current method to wind power generation setfor fault detection,this method can overcome the wind turbine form the grouddistance what is not easy to check faults,it is can get the current simulationanalysis of wind power generation.This article establish the simulationexperiment table of wind power generation.Experiment platform is cage typeasynchronous motor,wound rotor induction moter,the growth rate of gearsets,thedive and the other corresponding components. The cage type asynchronous moteris equivalent to the wind wheel, the growth rate of gear sets equivalent to thewind turbine speeder, and wound rotor induction motor is the windgeneration.Through the inverter variable frequency control motor speed,thendrive the gear group growth,drive the generator to rotate,observe changes in thegenerator stator when it is fault,sum up the rules for inspection.The generator stator incandescent lamp in part as the load,the load connecttransformer,then and acquisition card connection.Finally using the LabViewsofeware to analyze the current changes which can reach a conclusion.The results show that using this method,when the gearbox broken teethfault,the output of the stator current zbnormal changes will occur,this method isestablished.
