In recent years, wind power technology in the world has made great progress. Because of the extremely poor working conditions, the failure rate of wind turbines is enhanced. The failures can be caused by many reasons, including driven system fault, which is the most common failure. To be able to detect the transmission chain of failures and prevent the transmission failure caused huge losses, so the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of wind turbines were very meaningful. This article designs the hardware and software components of wind turbine driven system based on Lab VIEW to realize the vibration analysis and fault diagnosis of the driven system. This article is for the wind turbine condition monitoring, development and design of the entire system, which monitor the state of wind turbines and get fault diagnosis.Firstly make a brief introduction of the current status and development of wind turbines. Subsequent common faults wind turbines were summarized and mechanism analysis, complete fault feature extraction. Then the condition monitoring systems and software development and hardware fault diagnosis system are described in detail, including the selection of sensor type, the location of vibration measuring points, and the processing of signals, the hardware system accomplishes the synchronization sampling of signals, and framework to build software systems and final realization.Last, Wind turbine on-line monitoring and fault diagnosis system is developed with LabVIEW. The system includes network communication module based on TCP/IP protocol, producer/consumer acquisition module, real-time condition monitoring module, and vibration analysis module, etc. The vibration analysis module also includes time domain analysis, frequency spectrum analysis, epstrum analysis, envelope analysis, wavelet packet analysis and order analysis, etc.The system developed in this paper has been applied in practice, and successfully validated the reliability and effectiveness of the system...
