Production workshop layout planning design is an important problem in manufacturingsystems planning. Workshop layout planning is closely related with enterprises carryingefficiency, practical production capacity and the production cycle. Reasonable workshoplayout can significantly with increase the productivity of enterprises, enhance thecompetitiveness. Thus, research the production workshop layout has an important theoreticalsignificance and application value. This paper taking the introduction of new electronicthrottle pedal production workshop in YY Seiko Co., Ltd layout planning as the object toexplore the method of the auto parts manufacturing plant layout planning.First, the paper discusses the research background and the research status of productionworkshop layout planning both at home and abroad, analysis summarized the basic theory andmethods of the workshop layout.Then, based on the researching in-depth of the Systematic Layout Planning (SLP),combined with the actual situation of the YY electronic accelerator pedal productionworkshop, using SLP method to the raw data analysis, logistics relationship analysis of theoperating units and non-logistics analysis, final operating unit area map, and then get theinitial layout of the workshop program.Second, after analysis the advantages and disadvantages of simple genetic algorithm andsimulated annealing algorithm, it propose the genetic simulated annealing hybrid algorithmsolving steps, and auto parts production workshop for the study to establish the correspondingmathematical models and constraints. Material handling costs minimum goal, usingMATLAB software programming them to solve SLP method to get the initial program as theinitial population. The initial population to encode, selection, crossover, mutation, a series ofoperations to obtain the new shop layout program.Finally, it is simulated the initial program of the SLP method and the layout of theprogram obtained by the hybrid algorithm with the simulation software Proplannerprofessional layout. Based on a comparative analysis of simulation results, the ultimate proofthat genetic simulated annealing algorithm program than SLP The initial plan to save cost, thehandling time and the transport distance.Therefore, it proved that the feasibility and validity of the genetic simulated annealingalgorithm in workshop layout planning.
