Parking as an essential part of the transport system, order and efficiency directlyaffects the function of the entire transport system to play. However, the construction ofChina’s urban parking guidance system has not yet formed a relatively complete structuralsystem; there are some deficiencies and shortcomings in the existing parking guidancesystem, the guidance effect is not ideal: most of the existing parking guidance system focusin the external guidance, and insufficient attention to specific guidance of berths forvehicles entering the parking, resulting drivers to find parking space in the parking lot, notonly increases the user’s parking time also affect the parking internal traffic order andoperating efficiency.Analysis the existing parking guidance system found that there are some problems inthe parking guidance system in the parking lot: First, how to ensure the real-time andaccuracy of the guidance information; the second, how to ensure the satisfaction of theusers about the parking guidance information (that is, to ensure that the allocation of berthsfor the users are the best berths and provides optimal parking path). To solve theseproblems, this paper considers to introduce advanced Internet of Things technology,establish an accurate and efficient venue berths guidance information system, as theextension and supplement of the existing parking guidance system; take advantage of thereal-time berth information and the driver’s preference information, proposed routeguidance optimization technology based on berths selection, from the user’s point of viewto select the best berth and give the optimal parking path, thereby enhancing thesatisfaction of users on the parking-guidance system, further enhance the efficiency in useof parking guidance system.The paper is divided into five parts, the main contents of each part are as follows:(1) Analysis of the Problems and deficiencies of the parking guidance system, analysisof the current development of the Internet of Things and the parking guidance systems athome and abroad, discusses the application of the Internet of Things in the field of parkingguidance, proposed a parking guidance system based on the Internet of Things, a clear purpose and significance of the thesis, confirm the research scope, research purpose andmeanings of the paper, proposed the research ideas and structure framework of the paper.(2) Analyze and summarize the different definitions of Internet of Things, elaborationthe architecture of Internet of Things, analyze the key technology and characteristics ateach level of Internet of Things networking, summary and explore the potentialapplications of the Internet of Things technology in the field of parking guidance to lay thetheoretical foundation for subsequent research.(3) Analyze the users and service principals of the parking guidance system basedon the Internet of Things to determine the system’s functional requirements; proposedsystem design principles; combination of the Internet of Things to analyze and design theoverall framework of the system; conjugates the technology of Internet of Things toanalyze and design the functions module, including information collection, transmission,processing, management and publishing, berth reservation and electronic payment module;Finally, design the data tables, hardware and software support platform of the system.(4) Comparative analyze the parking process under two cases: whether there is aparking guidance system in the parking lot or not, to determine the practicality of the berthguidance system; proposed route guidance optimization technology based on berthsselection from the user’s point of view; analysis the influencing factors about berthselection, proposed multiple attribute decision making model based on gray relational andTOPSIS, the problems of choosing the best berth changes into multi-attribute decisionmaking problems; Finally, give the process of the route guidance optimization technologybased on berths selection, and analyze an example to prove its feasibility and rationality.(5) Summarizes the main research contents of the paper, pointed out the existingproblems and shortcomings as well as the direction of future work.
