In recent years, with the development of semiconductor technology, the development of switched reluctance motor made a lot of progress, widely applied to social life. Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) system has the advantages of simple structure, rugged, low cost, high reliability, high efficiency and good speed performance. In addition, the control system of switched reluctance motor also has low start-up current, high starting torque characteristics and more controllable parameters.Switched reluctance motor speed control system is mainly composed by motor body, position detector, voltage and current detector, power circuit and controller. And controller no doubt is the core of the system of switched reluctance motor, using collecting of data on the state of the motor, calculating and action instructions issued on the power circuit. Traditional controller is controlled by the DSP or51series microcontroller chip and peripheral circuits.However, the switch reluctance motor also has obvious shortcomings of torque ripple and energy nonlinear conversion. The typical value of torque ripple of the general switched reluctance motor is15%. In order to suppress the torque ripple of switched reluctance motor, improve the size of the motor and improve the control method are two important direction of work. Making switched reluctance motor research, the first to build a research platform is an important task, which has a common man-machine interface, control program easy to modify, motor parameters operating parameters acquisition accuracy, system suitability.In this paper, NI’s PCI-6250data acquisition board to replace the control chip, the virtual instrument control switched reluctance motor control system. Data acquisition boards can more quickly analysis the motor running data by communicate directly with the PC, and action command is given to the power circuit; Control program stored in the PC and therefore need to modify at any time to modify, and store multiple programs can be based on different parameters of the motor so that the controller can be used repeatedly and convenient operation; The controller is connected with PC, can display data, icon, or waveform chart shows the motor running, to provide data support for the operator to operate in accordance with the actual situation of the scene.On this basis, a2.2kW three-phase12/8pole switched reluctance motor as a test object, for the transient characteristics of the measuring system and the speed control system has been tested to prove the reliability of the system to achieve the control requirements.
