Optimization of Yangtze River small-size LNG container ship route, it has great significance for our LNG application and energy-saving emission reduction targets, for a certain practical significance of China small-size LNG container ship route set. With the country to encourage the implementation of natural gas utilization policy, import LNG receiving station, reserve projects has completed and put into production and LNG consumption market rapid development. On the one hand, China import LNG in domestic distribution logistics brings huge transportation demand, on the other hand,"oil to gas" project to make a large number of car, ships and other transportation become LNG large terminal market, and has wide distribution, batch flexible trend. The Yangtze River area, water network clouds, using small-size LNG container ship transportation mode, can meet the diversification of consumer demand, to satisfy the LNG safety, convenient, efficient transport demand. Small-size LNG container ship transportation and shipping are significantly different, not only to consider the port, linked to factors such as special order, more attention should be paid to the optimization of LNG container arranged influence on route. In this context, this thesis carried out research of Yangtze River small-size LNG container ship route optimization.Firstly, this article describes the characteristics of the container transport, the definition and classification of routes, route planning theory, to provide theoretical guidance for the Yangtze River Small-size LNG container ship routes optimization settings.Then, for the Yangtze River Waterway, trunk ports and container routes highlights. Finally, on the basis of taking into account the the Navigable capacity, the size of the demand and transport distance and other factors, selected a few major ports of the Yangtze River, the lowest total cost of operation objective function to optimize the settings of the Yangtze small LNG container ship routes.In this paper, liner shipping problem of the Changjiang River is considered and a "Two-Phase" solution method is proposed. First, all feasible routes are generated, solving the problem of "feasible routs with time and carrying capacity restriction; Second, routes are selected from the feasible routes, aiming to minimize the total transportation costs on the base of each port’s demanding is satisfied.In this paper, linear programming method is proposed to optimize the setting of shipping routes in Yangtzi liner shipping. In the course of solving the linear problem, as to a quite large number of data, the software is used to get answer.
