In order to meet the requirement of doubled and redoubled development of international container transportation along Yangtzi River main line, Yangshan Port ?combined with Yangtzi River main line to form a deepwater port to be built will be a comprehensive international container transportation system, including source of goods, waterway, port and ships. Based on the theory of system engineering and OP model, in this thesis is presented the tentative proposition of the optimization of Yangtzi River main line international container transportation system to realize the most rational distribution of port and the mode of shipping.The thesis, first of all, makes the qualitative and quantitative analyses about the present state of the international container transportation of Yangtzi River. Then expansible-accumulation model is used to predict port handling capacity of containers the proof of and finally tee optimization of shipping system is obtained.Second the thesis makes it possible to determine the handling capacity of containers of major ports along the Yangtzi River main line through the optimization of the general transportation system.Finally it makes the sensitive analysis of the optimization with the rate of the utilization of the containers in the shipping transportation as reference variables.Shen Jia Hua(Communication & Shipping Engineering)Directed by: Zhao Gang...
