Application Research Of Folk Textile Art In The Modern Interior Decoration

The modern style of interior decoration art design is diverse and varied. And the decorative design with Chinese folk characteristics is becoming more and more popular which is why keeping regional ethnic characteristics along with traditional folk culture is particularly important. The art of textile as an important constituent factor in Modern interior decoration plays a significant role in creating an artistic conception of space of interior environment, behind which the unique Chinese folk wisdom of life and beauty of folk custom embedded is worthy of our in-depth study, protection and inheritance. Thus, There are some problems needed to discuss below, such as how to inherit the folk art of textile properly and how to enable interior decoration to bloom its brilliance.From the research into the characteristics of folk textile and the function of textile art, the value of application of folk textile in the indoor decoration of modern is analyzed and summarized in the thesis. Thereafter, the Lu brocade, the representative of the picture-weaving in silk with the local feature of Shandong, is taken as the focus of research. Through the investigation and research of the objective conditions of Lu brocade, its historical meaning and cultural connotation can be understood, and in the thesis, through the analysis of its texture, patterns and color characteristics, the unique artistic charm and exploitation value of Lu brocade can be represented and realized. Through the investigation and research of the application status of Lu brocade in the interior decoration, its problems and deficiency can be found out and summarized. In combination with modern design concept and technique, the outlook and artistic form of Lu brocade were innovated and developed, the perfect combination point of modern design and folk tradition is dug out, which gives Lu brocade new vitality and expands its scope of application. In the hope that folk brocade is able to get better inherited, Lu brocade in this thesis, taken as a typical case of folk textile, represents the application of folk textile in the interior decoration and provides valuable theoretical viewpoints and methods of application with combination of folk textile art and decoration of modern art.
