Investigation About After-use Status Of Garden Exposition In China Based On Occupied Situation And Occupier’s Evaluation

Garden exposition has hundreds of years’ history in foreign countries. Its role in improving the urban environment, enhancing the quality of life of residents, and promoting regional development has been proven in many host cities. In contrast, garden exposition is still a new object in China, but it is developing rapidly in recent years, and has become the hot events of urban construction and development in many cities. In a short span of ten years of development process, China Garden Exposition has its own particularity, and the after-use problems began to take shape. How to avoid the garden expo park which original purpose is to display the newest technology and to promote the exchange of the horticulture industry development become "City Exhibition waste", how to ensure the garden expo park finally benefit to the improvement of the quality of people’s life, this is the basis and origin of the study.Through the comprehensive, detailed, scientific social surveys and statistical analysis of Garden Expo Park in Xi’an, Jinan and Shenzhen, which is based on occupied situation and occupier’s Evaluation, the author has master the current after-use status of Garden Expo Park in these places.On this basis, common issues and particularity of Garden Expo Park in these cities are analyzed.Further, suggestions for after-use of Garden Expo Park that has already been built, and suggestions for planning, construction and sustainable development of future Garden Expo Park are provided, hoping for serving as a stimulus for China’s professional practice and theoretical research of Garden Exposition.
