Research On The Design Of City Gardens In Garden Exposition

Garden Expo is a combination of garden art and showcase art, the festival events of landscape gardening industry exchange of new ideas, new technologies, new materials, and the benchmark of garden industry development. Since the Kunming World Horticultural Expo, China’s Gardening show the development of faster, garden Expo held constant throughout all levels. City Garden Exhibition is an important part of all levels of Garden Expo, often accounting for two-thirds of the entire exhibition. City Garden Exhibition are not only showing the shouldering regional culture and landscape, promoting the role of cities in the exhibition of the exhibitors city, but also impressing the visitors in many of the City Garden Exhibition, so the design concept of innovation and design practices in the use of the City Garden Exhibition is particularly important.We illustrated the concepts of gardens, garden art, City Garden Exhibition, and reviewed the development of the garden and the history of Garden Expo in China, and the summarizes and the characteristics of City Gardens and its location were investigated and analyzed on the basis of the Garden Expo that had been built. And based on its characteristics and location summarizes the theoretical basis of City Gardens, and focuses on the relationship between city development and the traditional garden, and the draw and innovation from City Gardens design theory for traditional garden. We summarize and analyze the ways to generate expression City Exhibition Park theme, reflecting the geographical features and the subsequent sustainable use of design techniques, by the research on characteristics of the City Garden Exhibition’s dual nature exhibition and festival, and design examples to respond to instructions.Throughout the article content, the organic integration of theory and practical cases, efforts to explore the city has a reference value of City Garden Exhibition design ideas and techniques, to provide a theoretical foundation for the design and construction on future Garden Expo.
