Airport container/pallet lifting loader is a kind of special vehicle which is used for loading and unloading containers or pallet at the airport. Recent years, as the increasing number of large aircraft and whole cargo aircraft, more and more oversize and overweight cargo can be transported by aircraft. So large-tonnage container/pallet lifting loader is essential to be designed to achieve the transportation between aircraft and transport vehicle. This paper designs a40-ton container/pallet lifting loader based on the development of this kind of vehicle domestic and overseas and the situation that backward in develop airport container/pallet lifting loader in domestic, the specific content of this paper includes:Firstly, design the lift loading’s main platform, bridge platform and the structure of frame according to the requirement of the vehicle and the national standards, determine the size and material of the vehicle, and then using SolidWorks build three-dimensional models and assemble them, at last get the3D structure of airport container/pallet lifting loader.Secondly, build the mechanical model, kinematical model of the lifting loader’s main platform, analysis these models based on the principle of virtual displacement, speed working method to get functional relationship between hydraulic cylinder thrust force and the parameters of the platform structure, size parameters and the position parameters of the hydraulic cylinder, the main platform’s motion speed and the parameter of the structure size and the function of the hydraulic cylinder speed. Writing a program in MATLAB to draw the relation curve, get varying pattern of the thrust in hydraulic cylinder and the speed of platform, then optimize the position where the cylinder is installed. At last get the result from ADAMS which analyze the optimized structure in dynamics and kinematics, compare the result with the result where we get through numerical analysis, check the accuracy of the analysis.Then, do the static analysis through build the finite model of main platform, the top plat of bridge platform and fork arm, determine the dangerous section and examine the strength and static stiffness of top plat and fork arm, based on the nephogram of equivalent stress and displacement which draw it from the analyzing result.At last, build the finite models of main platform and bridge platform, then do the stiffness analysis to get the first five order natural frequency, vibration mode and the dynamic stiffness character of main platform and bridge platform in order to support optimize the designing of structure. Main platform may break down due to bucking, carry on the buckling analysis on it to inspect its stability. Because main platform and fork arm is compression member so check it stability, and the result show that they satisfy the stabilized requirement.
