With the development of port industry, the port becomes a large load of electric power. In another word, the electric becomes the main energy of the port. At the same time port belt machine is used for transmission between a yard and ship the goods, and the belt conveyor will produce a large number of wattles power during the working process of the injection system, seriously affected the port of power quality. This paper research content mainly includes the following:(1) The components and characteristics of the port system are briefly described, followed by Lianyungang Flag Taiwan area as an example of bulk cargo berth, the profile distribution system for the port, outlines port handling process and the system components, processes and loading unloading processes.(2) In order to grasp the power quality status of the port, loading and unloading of paper-based processes to build a power quality assessment methods, and conduct a simulation study.(3) Calculation of the port-related supply and distribution system power quality limits and limits on the use of power quality testing and evaluation, for the existing issues related to governance program. And carried out project implementation, operation shows that the program to bring good economic benefits.(4) Summary of the full text of all the work, and the power supply and distribution system in port development faces energy research direction and key quality problems were discussed.
