All-terrain crane is the truck crane which is equipped with all-terrain chassis. It is widely used in construction site with narrow space, scattering goods, or the situation of difficult installing the lifting equipments and temporarily hoisting. People find a problem that sometimes the wire would run out off the rope groove when the super-lifting winch coils up the wire. We call it rope disorder. Rope disorder is caused by the wire suspension. This seriously affects the efficiency and safety. It has been proved that adding rope arranging device for the winch is an effective method to solve the rope disorder phenomenon. Therefore, this paper bases on the TZM1200all-terrain crane, designing an automatic rope arranging device and testing the device with computer simulation technology.The main work of this paper is as follows:(1) The automatic rope arranging device was designed, according to the actual structure of TZM1200All-terrain crane. The principle of hydraulic and electrical system was described. Then, we gave the selecting demonstration of the key elements.(2) The relationship between the parameters which affect the input signal of automatic rope arranging system was analyzed. Then, we set up the input signal model in Simulink and established transfer function model of hydraulic system basing on the analysis and calculation of the hydraulic system. With the help of MATLAB, the problem was analyzed, that how the key parameters affect the system dynamic performance.(3) The whole simulate model was establish. The PID parameters were adjusted with the method of critical proportion. We set the simulate parameters, according to the actual working condition, and then carried out the simulation.The result of simulation shows that the automatic rope arranging device, designed for all-terrain crane can meet the rope arranging requirements and prevent the rope disorder. The error peak is1.5×10-1m.
