Since the21st century, China’s machinery industry has achieved rapid developments.The engineering machinery is gradually becoming an integral part of industrialproduction, its promotion of performance and quality received people’s extensiveattention. As one of the commonly used mechanical components in engineeringmachinery, speed reducer is widely used in rotary and hoisting machinery. Itsperformance has a direct effect on the overall quality of construction machinery.Before speed reducers leave the factory, we need to have the necessary performance test,arrange ropes for hoisting reducers, ensure that the reducers’ quality meet the usingdemand of the whole. Therefore, it is of great importance to design a kind of speedreducer detection and rope arranging test rig.In the passage, by analysizing the requirement of speed reducer type and function ofthe test rig, which makes out the overall design of the test rig, leads to the researchand design of the speed reducer detection and rope arranging test rig, trying to finish adetailed study of the mechanical system, hydraulic system and servo control system.After studying the structure of servo control system, through theoretical analysis andapply the principles of dynamics, we finished establishing the mathematical model forvarious links of the servo system. In the end we established the mathematical model ofthe whole servo system, and set up the transfer function of the system. At the same time,according to the mathematical model of test rig servo system, the design and research ofthe PID controller of the system has been carried out. Then with the Simulink software,the servo system without PID controller and the one with PID controller have receivedthe simulated analysis, and we compared the control effect of these two systems,verifying the feasibility of the servo system with PID controller. Finally throughautomatic rope arranging test of the test rig, we got actual rope arranging effect andverified the validity of the test rig’s rope arranging intelligent control further.The successful development of the test rig has improved the automation degree ofspeed reducer detection and rope arranging equipment, become a reference in theprocess of the reducer test equipment development, and has a certain reference value forstudies of related issues.
