The cable-strut structure of point-supported curtain wall has been widely applied in our country in recent years due to its beauty of transparent, light structure. With the gradually mature of design technology, it will have more strong vitality and broad market prospect. But now there isn’t a set of mature theoretical basis in the design process of cable-strut structure of point-supported curtain wall. This paper focuses on the static characteristics of the glass panel and the wind-induced vibration of cable-strut structure of point-supported curtain wall.The main work of this paper as follows:Combining with the finite element theory, this paper uses the AR model in the linear filtering method to simulate the fluctuating wind speed. Even more this paper validate the simulation result by writing software in MATLAB to contrast the wind spectra and the target spectrum gotten from the simulation of instance scheme.The fluctuating wind is obtained by calculation.Then the wind load is applied to glass plane and supporting structure based on area allocation principle.By the analysis of consequences concluded that stress concentration occurs in the center supporting point.So the variation of stresses on the middle supporting point of six-point glass panel is further analyzed.lt is shown that the application of elastic support on the middle supporting point can significantly relieve the stress.By changing the elastic deformation of the middle supporting point, we obtain the corresponding stress values for different deformation and determine the variation patterns of the stress and the best method to calculate suitable elastic floating quantity.Due to the structure of point-supported curtain wall having the characteristic of geometric nonlinearity, this paper firstly carries out model analysis to get the natural frequencies in the process of simulation. Several design parameters which influence stress performance of supporting structure, including sectional area of dragline,length of bracing piece and cable-strut prestressed. Prestress change has a small influence in the stress and deflection value of supported structure. Besides if prestress is too much, which will give stress to cable structure. So it is unwise to use changing prestress to improve the stress distribution. Increasing the cable diameter and length of the supporting rod will reduce the structure stress and deflection value. And the length of supporting rod greatly affects the deflection value, the cable diameter has a great influence in the structure stress. So we must select out the best way to improve the wind resistance in the case of considering the structural weight.
