The large-span point-supported glass curtain wall is widely applied in the city symbolic construction due to its dexterity, lightness, structural beauty. Along with the point-supported glass technology gradual mature, the point-supported glass curtain wall will have the broader market prospect and the permanent vitality. It is the leading topic in the present glass construction domain to study its flexible supporting system. This paper conducts the analysis research about the great span flexible supporting system such as the static, the wind-induced dynamic response, the glass plate participation work and so on.This article first studies nine kinds of typical flexible supporting structures, analyzing mainly the status and the function of the vertical cable in flexible supporting structure, comparing in detail the performance of nine kinds of flexible supporting structures, proposing the pre-stressed value principle of the cable or the tension bar, simply analyzing the geometry stability of the space flexible supporting structure.The flexible supporting system belongs to the wind sensitive structure. Time domain analysis of the flexible supporting structure is a technical difficulty in the engineering. This article uses the AR model in the linear filtering method to write the procedure for the man-power simulating the wind speed time domain, which is then transformed to the pulsation wind load to function in the structure. The time domain analysis of four kinds of flexible supporting structures is conducted by the finite element analysis software. In detail, it mainly analyzes structural wind-induced dynamic response under the influence of geometry parameter which includes the node quality, the pre-stressed, the cable cross-sectional area, the structural height and so on, and gives the displacement and internal force wind vibration coefficient of four kinds of flexible supporting structures.Finally, this article analyzes four kinds of flexible supporting structures when glass plate participates in work, and discusses the influence of glass plate thickness on the structure rigidity and the member stress.
