The connection types of supporting point of point-supporting glass curtain often adopt countersunk type or floating-head type. The biggest stress of glass plate appears around the hole,so the loading properties of point-supporting glass curtain are influenced by the stress states of hole's edge significantly. And the stress of hole's edge is affected obviously by the installation pretightening force for fastener which acts directly on the stress concentration region. The effect of pretightening force on the stress of hole's edge of point-support glass is analysed and researched in the article,and the valuable laws and conclusions are educed. And based on these,the view that the optimal installation pretightening force for fastener exists is proposed. Additionally,the method for the optimal installation pretension is offered. The conclusions provides practical significance for engineering practice.The side displacement of the glass plate center is larger or less than the glass plate thickness,for the 3D geometric size of the glass plate and the lateral load vary in a wide range. In other words,the mechanic analysis of glass plate belongs to large deflection or small deflection theory in thin plate theory. But relatively large differences in stress and displacement exist through the analysis of these two methods. The effect of the wind load on the stress of hole's edge of point-support glass is analysed and compared by large deflection and small deflection theory respectively. And the critical wind load is offered.The advantages of the prestressed cable truss are the high structural efficiency and the architectural aesthetic feeling. This system is often used to act as structural support of point-supporting glass curtain. The prestressed cable is a long-span structure which represents tensegrity structure thought. Tensegrity structure is not stable without prestress and structural stiffness should be guaranteed by prestress. The structural stiffness changes compatibly with the load. Therefore,the prestress of the cable should make sure that the cable is in the tight state in the entire process. The largest wind load which the prestressed cable truss can undertake is studiedemphatically in the article.The main body structure burdens too much if the cable prestress is too large. But the internal force of the cable will loss completely under the load,if the cable prestress is too small. So too large or small cable prestress will exert negative effect on the support structure. How to establish primary prestress value of the cable is researched in the article.Under wind load,the horizontal displacement of the cable is a important index for the design of the support structure of point-supporting glass curtain. The effect of primary prestress and cross section of the cable on the structural displacement is studied in the article.
