Comparative Studies Of National Park Management System Between China And The United States

Because the management institutions is not standardized, legislation lags behind, there are much room for China’s national park to improve the management system, The United States is a pioneer in the establishment of the National Park system, It has constructed for a long time, the experience is very rich. After continuous efforts for more than100years, America has established a complete management system of the national park, it is a good reference for the construction of National Park in China.This paper summarizes the status of the national park system of China and America by methods of collecting, sorting out of the current literature and comparative analysis, and comparative analysis the similarities and differences of the China-US National Park in the management organization, management system and financial management, get the successful experiences and lessons of national park management system in China and America. Studies suggest that although the United States National Park management system is advanced, scientific, but because of China’s basic conditions, financial capital and the comprehensive national strength, the United States’s management system is not suitable for our country, if blind enlarging the vertical management scope, it can not solve the fundamental problem, but may reduce protection and management level of national park.Learn from the experiences of the management mode and experiences of the America’s national park, combined with actual situation of China, this paper puts forward some suggestions on the future development of China’s National Park:first, adhereing to the "protection first" management idea; Second, improving the national park management organization structure; Third, establishing national park franchise system; Fourth, innovating the fund raising mechanism, increase the poverty-stricken areas’financial support; Fifth, paying attention to public participation.
