The Research On The Interact Of Environmental Ceramic

Environmental ceramic is a form of artistic expression in the public space. Environmental ceramic art is a form of public art, which enjoys the principle of publicity of public art, and it has superior characteristics which other material of modern ceramic art does not has.Environmental ceramic art and its interact is the object of study in this article. This article starts with an overview of environmental ceramic art and public art, and it analyzes the influences the changes of public space function on public art and environmental ceramic art from public environmental art, then it tells us the necessity of ceramic art involving in public art from two aspects:the development of public environment art and modern ceramic art; the performance advantage of ceramic materials. Then it addresses the environmental ceramic art interact, and describes three components of the environmental ceramic art interact:people, environment and works. Among them, people is the subject, works is the media. Mutual exchange and communication emerges between works and environment, people and works, people and environment. After the discussion of the concept and composition about environmental ceramic and interact, it shifts to explain the six design factors which influence the interact of environmental ceramics:acceptance, subject, coordination between the works and the local environment of the works, the components, participatory and functionality of the works. It analyzes the influence every design factor has on interact, and explains the mutual influence between them. Next, it classifies the mode of interact of the environmental ceramic, which is before-interact and after-interact. And before-interact is divided into two types, which is the interact during the design-making process and the interact during the creation of works. After-interact is also divided into two types, which is the interact during the user experience of the works and the evaluation of the works. It compares and analyzes the strong and weakness of every interact mode, and provides the direction and reference of the design practice of the environmental ceramic. Finally, the design of the environmental ceramic is based on the interact of the environmental ceramic.
