On The Spirits Of Public Art From Millennium Park

By analysing a successful case of public art-Millennium Park, especially discussing its art concepts and ideas, the paper attempts to resolves the problem of methodology and attitude the artists may adopt when they are faced with the balance between art and public. And ultimately by these ideas and concepts we can seek for possible spirits of public art, and anticipate to broaden our horizons in public art. Moreover, we also expect that more and more Chinese contemporary artists will participate in public art and promote the Percent for Art Law in China.
