With the growing passenger flow as well as large-scale construction of the passenger line, railway terminal will connect intercity passenger railway lines and high-speed railway lines. It is a commonly measure that upgrading passenger stations, building new passenger stations or allocating passenger station’s works. When the location of passenger station is fixed, the research on the allocation of arrival and departure passenger trains among passenger stations, which has an effect on the utilization of passenger station’s capacity, the coordination between existing railway lines and passenger railway lines, the cooperation between railway and public transit, has an important significance.According to the analyzing of basic theory and the railway terminal of Cheng Du, this paper analyzes some points of a railway terminal that connects passenger railway lines, which include the transport organization mode, the passenger flow characteristics, the interchanges between railway and public transit, and the contrast between the methods of allocating arrival and departure passenger trains among passenger stations. To provide the basic parameter, this paper quantifies the value of the influencing factors. Then a multiple-objective linear programming model was proposed. In the model, decision variables is the distribution of passenger flows, constraints are the carrying capacity of every passenger station and railway line, the demand of passenger transportation and the carrying capacity of public transit, and objectives are the cost of all passengers and the railway company. Then the computer programming is proposed based on LINGO algorithm. Finally, this paper conducted an empirical analysis of the railway terminal of Cheng Du, proving the relevant research theories and methods.
