The energy crisis and environmental pollution is more and more serious. This provides agood opportunity of development, because the energy saving and emission of diesel engineare better than the gasoline engine. Diesel engine is more and more popular with itshigh-efficiency, low emission, low fuel consumption.With the development of science and technology, human on diesel engine of demand isincreasing day by day, so the research method of diesel engine is. Because of its flexibility,quickly and economy, the computer simulation technology became an indispensable way ofdiesel engine design. As the most famous one of GT-SUITE series software, GT-POWER usethe modern computer technology and numerical calculation method for simulation.Based on the GT-POWER software, this paper set up a diesel engine model according tothe vehicle diesel engine of the actual structure parameters and operation parameters. Throughcomparing the different working conditions diesel engine intake air flow, power and fuelconsumption of the calculation and experimental results, we make sure the model is right.Analysis and optimal different parameters on the influence on the performance of the dieselengine. The results show that compression ratio and injection advance angle is affected for thediesel engine. The optimal compression ratio is between16and17, and the best injectionadvance angle is21°CA. The parameters of air intake system do not make different for themachine and there is not resonance phenomenon. Because turbocharger is not fit for dieselengine in the low speed, the power and torque of diesel engine are low, and the fuelconsumption are high. It needs researchers to improve.
