Many researches indicate that chinese medicinal herbs not only have the ability to kill bacteria or control them but also do no harm, which compound chemical agricultural pesticides do. Anthurium andraeanum is so sensitive to pesticide and bactericide that easily harmed by them when it is treated by them. This task initially used Chinese Medicinal Herbs to prevent and cure Anthurium Bacterial Blight Disease s and did test research.The research is mainly aimed at doing experiment and mensuration on the present prevention and cure of Anthurium Bacterial Blight Disease with the substance adopted from soaking Chinese Medicinal Herbs such as Coptis chinensis (the rhizome of Chinese goldthread), Scutellaria baicalensis (the root of membranous milk vetch), Phellodendron (the bark of a cork tree), Belamcanda Chinecsis, Selfheal. This study is exploring the effect of Chinese Medicinal Herbs’killing-bacteria and controlling-bacteria to plants by doing different preventing and curing experiments in the shed on the pathological changed Anthurium plants and healthy ones led in bacteria, contrasting medicine effect at different consistency or different period of the same materia medica and the same dosage, comparing the mensuration of the prevention and cure of Chinese Medicinal Herbs with that of chemical agricultural pesticides. The study did controlling experiments on pathogen with the five Chinese Medicinal Herbs and further verified their function of killing and controlling bacteria and their effect of preventing and curing bacterial blight diseases of Chinese Medicinal Herbs. The study indicates that Chinese Medicinal Herbs have certainly effect on the Prevention and Cure of Anthurium Bacterial Blight Disease. Among them Coptis chinensis and Scutellaria baicalensis have the best effect of preventing diseases and killing bacteria.
