Study On Effects On Treatment And Prevention For Avian Mycoplasmosis With Traditional Chinese Medicinal Herb

Mgallisepticum(MG),M synoviae(MS)and M meleagridis(MM)are the most common pathogen causing Avian Mycoplasmosis.A Chronic Respiratory Disease(CRD)is developed in birds infected by.MG and MS.On the basic of the analysis to situation of Traditional Chinese Medicinal herbs against mycoplasma,this study was intended to select Traditional Chinese Medicinal herbs,such as expelling toxin cooling drug,reliving cough and asthma drug,removing dampness and alleviate edema drug to fill a prescription as an anti-mycoplasma preparation,the study researched effections which can improve immunity potency and reduce ALT and AS In the blood.The experiment selected 320 local breeding birds infected With MG naturally,divided into 10 groups at random.Group 1,2 and 3 were treated by antiviral preparation I with a dose of 0.25ml,0.50ml and 1.00ml/kg body weight via drinking water respectively.Group 4,5 and 6 were treated by anti-mycoplasma preparation I with a dose of 1.5g,3.0g and 6.0g/kg body weight via feeding stuff respectively.Group 7,8 and 9 were treated by tylosin with a dose of 50mg,100mg and 200mg/kg body weight via drinking water respectively.Above the treatments were repeated 2 times per day and last for 7 days.Group 10 was the blank control group.And then we observed the clinical symptoms and clinical curative effect graded pathological lesions of airsac,tested serum antibody against MG and growth index.Meanwhile,we also tested the serum antibody against Newcastle Disease Virus and Avian Influenza Virus,erythrocyte C_3byeast ring rate, lymphocyte transformation rate,E-rosettes forming rate,amount of complement C₃/C₄, immunoglobulin G,ALT and AST examined.The result showed as followings:1.There was no statistical significant difference among groups treated by antiviral preparation I,anti-mycoplasma preparation I and tylosin(P＞0.05),but was a significant difference(P＜0.05) between the.groups and the blank control group in the side of relieving clinical symptoms, reducing the rate of occurring of airsac and the pathological changes degree of this disease and death rate.0.05ml/kg antiviral preparation I had a best function to relieve clinical symptoms, reduce the rate of occurring the inflammation of airsac and the pathologieal changes degree of this disease and death rate.2.The prevention and curative effect of antiviral preparation I was similar to that of tylosin when used to treat birds infected with MG.and Antiviral preparation I can also increase the titer of antibody against Newcastle Disease Virus and Avian.Influenza Virus so as to prevent secondary infection by Newcastle Disease Virus and Avian Influenza Virus.Moreover,antiviral preparation I can balance ratio of ALT/GPT and AST/GOT in serum to maintain amino acids and proteins at a higher level.This can help to increase growth rate and immunity potency of birds.3.There was no statistical significance between anti-mycoplasma preparation I and antiviral preparation I,tylosin groups I(P＞0.05)in the curative effect.Anti-mycoplasma preparation I can also improve the titer of antibody against Newcastle Disease Virus and Avian Influenza Virus, erythrocyte C_3byeast ring test rate,lymphocyte transformation rate,E-rosettes forming rate,and amount of complement C₃/C₄,immunoglobulin G.Compared to the blank control group,there was a significant difference(P＜0.05).Result:1.Antiviral preparation I has the best prevention and curative effect;Anti-mycoplasma preparation I has the best effection of improving immunity potency.2.According to 0.5ml/kg body weight via drinking water respectively and lasting for 7 days, antiviral preparation I can relieve the clinical symptoms,reduce the rate of occurring of airsac and the pathological changes degree,increase growth rate,improve the titer of antibody against Newcastle Disease Virus and Avian Influenza Virus,and improve ALT and AST of serum.According to 0.3g/kg body weight via feeding stuff respectively and lasting 7 days, anti-mycoplasma preparation I can improve erythrocyte C_3byeast ring test rate,lymphocyte transformation rate,E-rosettes forming rate,and amount of complement C₃/C₄, immunoglobulin G.
