Molybdenum are necessary trace elements to animals, plants and microbes.Animals need molybdenum less,so molybdenum content in general diet can satisfy theneeds of all animals. In recent years, with the support of the molybdenum mining, thesurrounding environment cause pollution in the process of mining,and molybdenumpoisoning in Livestock and Poultry often happened. The molybdenum tolerated ofanimals have species differences, among them the ruminant animals are mostsensitive.So we select small-tail-cold sheep for experimental object in thisexperiment,and established molybdenum poisoning model, and then we study thepoisoning dose molybdenum to the influence of pathology, routine blood, kidney andliver, antioxidation, immune and reproductive of ruminant animals, And thenproviding scientific theoretical guidance for the prevention and control ofmolybdenum poisoning.In order to achieve the research purpose of the above,Thisstudy included work as follows:1.Establishing ruminant animals molybdenum poisoning modelThis study selected18small-tail-cold sheep as the research object,and dividedinto Ⅰ,Ⅱ,Ⅲgroups randomly and feeding the same basal diet, Each group fodderadded molybdenum respectively(60mg/kg/dBW,30mg/kg/dBW and0mg/kg/dBW).The experiment period was210days and established ruminant animals molybdenumpoisoning model.2.The observation of clinical symptoms and the pathological and histologicalchangeFrom the experiment day8start, We have observed that theⅠ group testedsheep first appeared mental tiredness,whimper,odontoprisis,odontoprisis an differentdegree pathological changes compared with d so on,and Ⅰ group tested sheeppoisoning symptoms became more prominent In the early days,The sheep of Ⅰ,Ⅱgroup all appeared anemia,Inability to stand,walked unsteadily and death during post production,and with extending of time the sheep of Ⅰ,Ⅱ group appeared moreseriousmolybdenum poisoning symptoms; In histopathological aspects, we maked theorganization conventional biopsy and then observed under the light microscope in day205,and the testicular, liver, kidneys, spleen, heart of the sheep of Ⅰ,Ⅱ groupappeared different degree pathological changes compared with Ⅲ group, but the lungsand lymph gland have no obvious pathology change.3. The determination of related blood index and semen qualityCollected blood samples regularly of each group sheep,and made plasma andserum, then used blood cell analyzer determine blood routine index,liver and kidneyfunction related indicators,antioxidant indexes,immunological indexes,reproductivehormone,and we found the number of red blood cell hemoglobin amount, the whiteblood cells, the number of red blood cells, lymphocytes ofⅠ,Ⅱ group all appeareddifferent rate reduce in some extent compared with Ⅲ group; we found that serumALT, AST, the AKP, LDH, r-GT activity, total bilirubin concentration, uric acidconcentration, urea nitrogen concentration were rising over time,and serum ChEactivity dropped, and the index of Ⅰgroup was higher thanⅡ group,but there was nochange in serum creatinine concentration between groups;the serum XOD,GSH-Px andSOD activity of Ⅰ,Ⅱ group dropped over time,but serum MDA concentration roseover time,and the index of Ⅰgroup was higher thanⅡ group, the serum IgG,IgMconcentration of Ⅰ,Ⅱ group dropped over time, there was no obvious differencebetween Ⅰgroup and Ⅱ group,but the serum IgA,IgE concentration was no obviousdifference between Ⅰgroup,Ⅱ group and Ⅲ group, the peripheral T lymphocytesANAE test and T cells stimulate coefficient of Ⅰ,Ⅱ group had very significantdifferences compared with Ⅲ group later, but there was no obvious differencebetween Ⅰgroup and Ⅱ group.The semen quality of Ⅰ,Ⅱ group had very significantdifferences compared with Ⅲ group;The blood plasma GnRH,FSH and LHconcentration of Ⅰgroup,Ⅱ group and Ⅲ group was no obvious difference,but theblood plasma T concentration dropped over time, the Ⅰ,Ⅱ group had significantdifferences later,but there was no obvious difference betweenⅢgroup and Ⅱ groupBy the research, we can come to the following conclusion:①In the diet, add60mg/kg/dBW,30mg/kg/dBW molybdenum are able to cause the sheep appeared sparse,anemia, limp poisoning symptoms and so on, and the sheepⅠ group appeared the earliest poisoning symptoms,but the later symptobms are similar;and causeorganizations pathological changes in different degree, and pathological changesdegree were positively correlated to molybdenum dose.②Poisoning dose molybdenumcan cause the sheep blood conventional index decreased, the Ⅰ,Ⅱ group hadsignificant differences later.③Poisoning dose molybdenum can cause damage to theliver and kidney function, the sheep immune function, antioxidant function ofsheep,and damage and molybdenum dose has certain correlation.④Poisoning dosemolybdenum can cause semen quality and the blood plasma T concentrationdropped,and theⅠ,Ⅱroup had significant differences.⑤Poisoning dose molybdenumhave comprehensive toxic effect to all organs and tissues in small-tail-cold sheep,instead of aim at a tissue organ have single toxic effect.
