Countermeasures To Coordinate The Development Of Forest Tourism And The Protection Of Urban Water Sources In Ningbo City

Water source with high quality is the guarantee of the security of urban water supply, as wellas the necessity of good urban running, thus preventing urban water source from polluting is theprimary task of urban water supply. Forest tourism not only enriches residents’ leisure life tomitigate their life stress, but also brings new impetus to economic development. This paper takesthe perspective of coordinating the contradiction between the development of forest tourism andthe protection of urban water source, focuses on finding the mechanical control measures over thepollutants, including garbage and sewage caused by forest tourismFirstly, this paper introduces the development situation of forest tourism and the positivefactors and negative factors of influencing its development in Ningbo, then, the paper explainsthe forest tourism make the influence to the environment, especially to urban water sources.Secondly, this paper elaborates the situation and the problems of protecting urban watersources, and concluded that the contradiction between forest tourism and protecting urbanwater sources will be more and more prominent with analysing the water quality variationtendency of urban water sources and the influential factors of water sources. Thirdly, this paperanalyzes the characteristics of forest tourism pollution and the problems of coordinating thedevelopment of forest tourism and the protection of urban water sources. finally comes to theproblems which will be solved. Thereinto, the calculation of the amount of pollutants adopts themethod used in the first national pollutants census, the coefficients of producing and emittingpollutants method. Finally, this paper puts forward macroscopic countermeasures and mechanicalcontrol measures to coordinate the development of forest tourism and protection of urban watersource. Wherein, mechanical control measures are the new garbage and sewage disposal techniquedrawn from the results of exploring the garbage and sewage disposal techniques in recent years,namely an integrative garbage and sewage disposal technique. This technique is briefly introducedand then tested in pilot project. By elaborating the effects, characteristics and merits, as well as theexisted problems and corresponding solving measures, this paper finally comes to the conclusionthat the technique is effective and feasible in disposing garbage and sewage caused by foresttourism.
