The research of this paper is to explore the relationship between urban forest construction in Xiamen City, and to analyze the promotion and restriction of urban forest.This paper expounds the important significance of urban forest in the current on the ecological tourism in the aspects of spatial layout, infrastructure, image promotion and development potential. Analysis in the process of construction of urban forest in the xiamen development layout is unreasonable, improper tree configuration, operation and management is not sound, inadequate protection of the elements and other problems and to bring the negative impact of the ecological tourism; On this basis, the construction of urban forest next preliminary construction measures were put forward, namely:in investigation and monitoring of forest resources to strengthen investment, reasonable planning and good urban forest and coordinated development of ecological tourism, and to explore the urban forest management and the management mechanism, highlights of urban forest eco-tourism with xiamen culture value, improve the urban forest construction guarantee measures.
