classification. This thesis is based on Henan Province, because it has the long history andculture, and abundant with soil resources in this place. In this thesis, we choose thesoil in Da He Village ruins, the Yang Shao ruins, Old City in Han and Wei dynastiesruins and the soil under the Er Litou ruins as the research objects, and then sampleand describe the soil outdoors and have the physical and chemical analysis indoors.Through the Comparative analysis the morphological characteristics and the generalphysical and chemical properties about soil profile between three places in which eastand north parts in the Yang Shao ruins, four-corner storied building and the fourseries of ruins we mentioned above, we conclude that: The profile of the ruins is indisorder. From the profile, we can find ancient brick debris or ash, and other ancienthuman activity traces which had a significant effect on soil chemistry. In terms ofoverall, the mass fraction of organic carbon, organic phosphorus are significantlygreater than that of the natural profile on contrast. At their profile of the100~125cmand180~300cm,40~65cm and105~150cm,37~55cm,80cm, the three ratioin OP/TN, OP/TP, and OC/TP are also increased significantly. Combined thesefindings we talked above and the research on the soil classification and soil functionthat existed in domestic and international, we propose to introduce a new diagnosticlayer, which can be called the layers of ancient cultural ruins. In this paper, we site theancient cultural ruins anthrosols as a subclass under the category of anthrosols. Underthe ancient cultural ruins anthrosols, we site another soil category that called theTurbi-Ancient Cultural Ruins Anthrosols, which have three sub-categories: AshTurbi-Ancient Cultural Ruins Anthrosols; Technical Turbi-Ancient Cultural RuinsAnthrosols; and General Turbi-Ancient Cultural Ruins Anthrosols. Through theresearch, we hope that we can have a better way to complete the Chinese SoilTaxonomy system, to understand the action and the forming process of the soil whichaffected by the ancients, and to inherit our ancient human civilization as a reference.
