In this paper,resource of Metarhizium anisopliae and Beauveria bassiana in the surroundings of Baoding is investigated by Tenebrio molitor linne larvae trapping method.All the strains isolated were used to conduct a preliminary bioassay. By mixed methods,20 Metarhizium anisopliae strains were selected.The mortality of these strains was between 66.67% to 100.00%,and the stiff worms rate of these strains was between 42.22% to 100.00%.LT50 of 20 strains was between 2.64d to 5.72d.The stiff rank order of the Metarhizium anisopliae isolated was [M7-9, M7-(16-18)] >M7-(64-65)>M7-(283-285)>[M7-287, M7-105]>M7-169>[M7-19, M8-249]>M7-119>M7-130> [M7-(58-59), M7-67, M7-77]>[M7-184, M7-(83-84)]>[M7-43, M7-194]>M7-149>M7-57;The LT50 rank of order of the Metarhizium anisopliae was M7-9>M7-(16-18)>M7-(283-285)>M7-287>M7-(64-65)>M7-(58-59)>M7-19>M7-119>M7-67>M7-43>M7-184>M7-130>M7-105>M8-249 > M7-77 > M7-169 > M7-149 > M7-57 > M7-(83-84) > M7-194.A comprehensively comparative study of 20 strains was conducted in terms of biological characteristics, including ultraviolet-resistant,heat-resistant and bioassay against the larvae of Hlyphantria cunea Drury, Pynrrhalta aenescens Fairn, Locusta migratoria manilensis Meyen, Lamprosema indicata Fabricius, Spodoptera litura Fabricius, Tropidocthorax elegans Distant and Plutella xyllostella Linnaeus.The results demonstrated that was optimal among these strains.M7-9 strains was used for liquid-solid two-way fermentation studies, a condition model of the relation among liquid fermentation times, proportion of water in solid nutrient medium, proportion of wheat bran and michael shell, inoculation of the products of liquid fermentation,and the solid fermentation times process parameters was established by means of quadratic general rotary unitized design, at the same time the best fermentation condition wad ensured.The results showed that: the most suitable fermentation condition for M7-9 was liquid fermentation times 73h, proportion of water in solid nutrient medium 90%, proportion of wheat bran and michael shell 16.5%, inoculation of the products of liquid fermentation 15ml,and the solid fermentation times 8d.Within the field test to M7-9 and M7-(16-18),which were used for liquid-solid two-way fermentation, in the dose of 10000, 50000, 10 trillion spores/mu respectively (processing A, B, C), compare with the pesticide of michael essien sulphur phosphorous, chlorpyrifos and Beauveria bassiana granules. All the treatment were deal with DPS data processing system in random permutation, applied in the roots of the peanuts, surveyed in the harvest. The control efficiency were as different as the variety of the peanuts.Overall the two strains of Metarhizium anisopliae were effective to the pest and disease prevention. The result showed that the test for Metarhizium anisopliae in screening, fermentating and applying was of great significance.
