In this study, two materials of mutant lines of “Shan253”and “Xinong1043” of retrievablesatellite carring wheat were used, study, count and analyze the physiological statistics likemajor agronomic traits, yield traits, photosynthetic rate and so on of SP7of the two materials;use logistic equation to fitting the grain filling process of the mutant lines; use SDS-PAGE toanalysis the high molecular weight subunits (HWM-GS) of selected mutant lines and thecontent of different protein components was determined. The influences and mutageniceffects of space environment to the growth of Winter Wheat were explored to providetheoretical basis for space mutation breeding. The following results were obtained in thisstudy:1. Through field observation, there were different variations in the yield traits of paniclelength, single panicle weight, per spike amount, spike weight and grain weight of the SP7mutant lines of “Shan253” and “Xinong1043”, showed that the plant height, grain wheat andproduction of SP7-253-27increased and the plant height, panicle length of SP7-253-1decreased. The plant height of SP7-1043-57increased while its grain wheat and productiondecreased; the spike weight, grain weight and production of SP7-1043-37increased. Theagronomic traits in SP7of selected strains were inherited stable. the plant height,grain weightand output of Shaanxi253SP7-253-27increased; the difference was extremely significant (P<0.01), which increased by16.03%,16.32%,27.53%; but SP7-253-1plant height, ear lengthreduced significant difference (P <0.01), respectively, lower than the control by17.52%,12.85%.2. After satellite carring, the variation of glutenin subunits of the two wheat varietiesshowed different types, the variation of High molecular weight glutenin subunits (HMW-GS)mainly occurred in the sites of GluB1and GluD1, there were four kinds of mutations in“Shan253”, was SP7-253-1(Glu1A1,Glu1B7+9,Glu1D2+12),SP7-253-13(Glu1A1,Glu1B14+15,Glu1D2+12),SP7-253-27(Glu1A1,Glu1B14+15,Glu1D5+10),SP7-253-38(Glu1A1,Glu1B7,Glu1D5+10)respectively; there was only one new combination type in“Xinong1043” mutant (Glu1A1,Glu1B7+8,Glu1D2+12). According to the wheat qualityscore, gave calculation of the quality of HMW glutenin subunit Glu-1, the quality score was decreased of both the two wheat varieties after satellite carring.3. Measure the photosynthetic rate and chlorophyll content of the two mutant strains, wefound that the chlorophyll content of SP7-253-27、SP7-253-38、SP7-1043-37、SP7-1043-19was higher than control, the photosynthetic rate of all the mutant lines was higher than control;the results of using logistic equation to fitting the grain filling process of the mutant linesshowed: after satellite carring, the theory filling time of mutant lines showed more positivevariation, the grouting duration of all the mutant lines was longer than control, but there wasdifference in filling rate. Characteristics of high filling rate and longer grouting duration wasappeared in SP7-253-27and SP7-1043-19.4. After satellite processing, storage protein content in two wheat varieties mutant strainswith varying degrees of variation at Gli/Glu ratio is low and wheat processing quality isrelatively good;The Gli/Glu ratio shows that except SP7-253-27, the rest of Shaan253mutant strains at Gli/Glu ratio higher than controls;This trends aslo be found in1043Xinongmutant strains, which is consistent with the variation trend of wheat quality score.the starchcontent was higher in Xinong1043than Shaan253with varying degrees of variation.
