Jackfruit is famous tropical fruit, Hainan province in China is one of the key region ofjackfruit and has a long history of cultivation, but the jackfruit grow scattered, lack ofproduction base and lack of new varieties, aging tree species, very rarely used advancedplanting technology and management way backward, the product quality and sales channelare poorer, market competition ability is not strong. This thesis focuses on:: Jackfruitproduction base in accordance with the requirements of construction of the base,standardization, select excellent varieties-Malaysia’s No.1jackfruit, the use of advancedcultivation methods, such as mountain, water, park, forest, road of unified planning, unifiedplanting specifications: spacing of6×6meters, acres of planting18; supporting improvementof agricultural infrastructure, including roads, shelter belts, irrigation and drainageengineering, power engineering, to construct the modern agricultural production base; explorenew agricultural business model system and its sub-combination of the establishment ofindustry company or companies+farmers, to change the traditional farming systems, andenhance market competitiveness; the development of deep processing and development oftravel and tourism industry, to make the industry bigger and stronger; aim at building ademonstration of the agricultural production base, and promote large jackfruit industrialdevelopment and cultivate farms to leading industries, and workers’ income to promotebusiness efficiency, to gain the development of farm economy.The thesis is based on the structure on every level to promote research questions in theorder, combined with the basic situation of the Nanhai Farm, clear that the jackfruit industrydevelopment position and target; and make a deep analysis about the development of jackfruitcultivation and conditions and to use SWOT method to analysis advantages, weakness,opportunities and threats of the project. According to the land for the project requirements tomake the scientific and reasonable land choose to determine the site layout and land usestructure of the core base and non-core base; base-building programs to develop productiontechnology and supporting facilities, clear construction content and size, to explore thejackfruit industry business ideas, take a practical business model, open up the market, thedevelopment of deep processing and development of tourism, to make the industry bigger andstronger; carefully estimate the base construction projects to determine the total projectinvestment and financing; in-depth analysis of the project’s economic, social and ecologicalbenefits, the risk factors of the project analysis to study countermeasures to determine thefeasibility of the project. According the results from the thesis, the Nanhai Farm has the regional conditions andland resource to plant jackfruit through building jackfruit production base, introduction newplanting methods, using new cultivation way, using valid infrastructure, taking effectivebusiness model, the formation of standardized agricultural production base and changing thetraditional agricultural production and mode of operation. From the results, Variety extensionand planting technology is more mature now, construction program of practical is easy to putinto practice, investment estimating is in detail and they can control the costs, and there arefeasible financing options and effective risk prevention measures, economic, social andecological benefits in the project.
